For a more relaxing excursion, Sandringham, the country retreat of the British royal family, is a mere eight miles from Middleton Castle, or you can spend a blissful afternoon sampling local delicacies at Norfolk’s award-winning vineyard, Cobble Hill.

Local sporting activities include a visit to Middleton Golf Club, which includes a high-tech golf simulator, as well as the stunning Hunstanton Golf Club situated on the North West Norfolk Coast. Additionally, you can take a visit to the Newmarket Racecourse, try your hand at Mackerel fishing at Wells Next The Sea, or take part in a spot of Clay Pigeon Shooting in Weston Colville.
