Built by Thomas Scales, 7th Baron Scales, and home to the Barclay family for over a century, it is one of England's great private castles; a Grade I listed, moated tower with fifteen bedrooms, four reception rooms, and acres of rolling gardens and farmland. A medieval moat with our own flock of geese, six acres of lawn including a croquet lawn, fire pits, a barbecue, and Norfolk farmland stretching beyond the gates.
