Five Centuries of Heritage

A moated, Grade I listed Norfolk castle, available for exclusive hire. Fifteen bedrooms, four reception rooms, two kitchens, and acres of grounds, exclusively yours.

Built in 1455. A family home ever since.

Middleton Castle has been standing watch over the Norfolk countryside since 1455. Built by Thomas Scales, 7th Baron Scales, and home to the Barclay family for over a century, it is one of England's great private castles; a Grade I listed, moated tower with fifteen bedrooms, four reception rooms, and acres of rolling gardens and farmland. Available for exclusive hire, the castle is entirely yours throughout your stay.
